Viking's have always interested me, so when I heard there was Viking Ship Museum in Oslo I checked it out. I was really surprised of the size and some of the stories behind the 1200 yrs old ships. Some were around 25m long and there were all buried with high racking personal, with there gold, clothes, horses, etc...

The Oseberg Ship...
They found a wagon, elaborate sledges, 5 carved animal heads, 12 horses, 5 beds in the this grace with 2 females skeletons.

This was the first Viking ship ever found...
These two boats and chamber were buried with 'The Gokstad Ship' among with board games, harness fitting of iron, lead and glided bronze, kitchen utensils, six beds, a tent, 12 horses, six dogs and a peacock.

I went to this place when I was 9, glad to see it hasn't changed. I also drank a lot of diet Fanta at christmas and hit a dude in the nuts then the adults made me go apologise but I didnt mean the apology. Dude made a joke about me, got a sweet toy police helicopter and watched every episode of Black Adder on VHS though. Pretty much sums up my norway trip when I was 9.
